The 1863 Tavern at the Elkins Motor Lodge was the site of our first evening get-together. What a site to see a whole dining room full of red hats and purple attire!

The soft lighting provided a warm winter glow as Majesties took cover from the cold winter night outside. Queen Mother JoAnn surprised everyone when she crowned Judy Jack our new "Vice Queen" and bestowed upon her a royal purple sash and a red rose. Judy has done a tremendous amount of work as our unofficial photographer and scrapbook keeper ~ and the new honor is well deserved.
