The
Elkins Purple Majesties celebrated its first "Red-uation"
in March 2004!! Official ceremonies for former pink-hatter
Diane Clay were held during our evening meal at Graceland Inn. As a
fly-up poem was read, a new scarlet caplet took its place on Diane's head
where her pink hat had formerly resided. A scrumptious meal was had by all and
the festivities were capped by a surprise birthday cake for Diane featuring,
of course, a beautiful red iced hat standing proud atop four pedestals!
