It was a hot time in the old town when Christmas came early for the Elkins Purple Majesties in July. Duchess Carol Kyle really outdid herself with a Red Hat Christmas tree complete with presents for everyone. In a fun game of round-robin the gifts were exchanged, and everyone went home with a little surprise.

QM Sharon presided over the gathering for the first time, and her antics kept everyone laughing. A red hatted flamingo greeted members at the door. At the end of the day, Calain's Cove owner Sue gave QM Sharon the bird - literally - when the dressy flamingo went home with her. Sue graciously surprised the group with red hat antenna toppers and key chains as well.

Thanks, Carol, for the great job as Duchess. We hope Christmas comes early again!
