Breakfast was a blast as red hatters rolled out of bed to attend our first Pajama Breakfast at the Appalachian Grill. Dressed from head to toe in curlers and fuzzy slippers, members enjoyed a delicious morning meal that included eggs, bacon, sausage, red potatoes, mixed vegetables, gravy, biscuits, cream of spinach soup, fresh fruit, juice, and pasta made to order. I am sure our group turned more than a few heads of early morning commuters as we entered the building in everything from silk and cotton "jammies" to cute capris, long T-shirts, and even boxers!

Several door prizes were given away by Duchess Diane Clay. Becky Manolidis was the lucky winner of the most talked about prize -- a homemade pair of very special, extra absorbent, "Maxi" padded slippers! You can see a close-up at left. Adorned with purple and red fringe, plus small red hat trinkets, the slippers are really cute! I'm sure the sight of them will give many men-a-pause when they see them!

With such good company, not to mention food, what more could we have asked to wake up to?! The Pajama Breakfast was a great success and we are sure to do it again soon!
