Purple Majesties members went to the high mountains for November when they
dined atop Canaan Valley at the Golden Anchor.
The
highlight of the day was an auction of
various Red Hat items that were donated by chapter members. Dowager
Queen Sharon served as our auctioneer once again with a little
help from several other members. There was a little of everything for sale -
from small change purses, to jewelry, teddy bears, sweaters, hats, and much,
much more. Several hundred dollars was raised that helped feed the
"Kitty Fund" that covers incidental costs for the chapter. It was
a great way for EPM members to get new Red Hat items and help out the
chapter at the same time.
If you know have a fun idea for an event, a place to visit, or other idea DON'T BE AFRAID to share it with the Queen Mothers or chapter members. New, and crazy, ideas are what helps keep us going!
