Oh, what a NICE surprise to see all of you when I opened my e-mail this morning! You all look so cute and as if you are having a BALL! I see Jackie wore her red dress and purple hat for her birthday. Sharon, your 11 day old granddaughter is adorable!!! Many of you I recognize and some I should but give me a few minutes to see you in the picture! Please keep me included. I am still homesick for Elkins and have not been home in 3 1/2 years. |

Ok ladies, it's been a
while since I've had the opportunity to sing to you. All of you need to
attend the "Lucky Enough" Show at the Elks Lodge in Elkins.
"Lucky Enough" will be appearing there on Friday nights this
season. Our first show is Friday, April 10th. You're welcome to have a
pajama party or any other ideas you might come up with. The Elkins
Purple Majesties will always hold a special place in my heart. Bring
some of your Red Hat sisters from other chapters with you. For info
about the show, call 637-2009. I hope to see y'all soon. |

Hello lovely Red Hat friends, I am Queen Mum Cheryl from Almost Heaven's Red Hatters in Rock Cave, WV. It's time to start thinking about our Red, Wild and Wonderful Red Hat Weekend coming to Buckhannon in September! We would like to send out "Save the Date" information cards to as many Red Hatters as possible. Perhaps you could help us in reaching our red hat sisters by sending me any names, mailing addresses or e-mails of Chapter contact persons that you may know. All who attended last year had such a fun week-end - we really want to get the word out to more of you this year! If you'll get me your mailing addresses I'll send you the "save the date" info card for you to pass on and share with all the Red hat Sisters you know. The date is Seoptember 25-27th in Buckhannon, WV. Thanks for your help ladies! If you have any questions please contact me at wvturners@live.com or Lori at cvbb@ci.buckhannon.wv.us |

I would like to thank all the members of the Elkins Purple Majesties for allowing me to have a part in your entertainment at your meeting, and for a very enjoyable evening. It's been a long time since I've laughed that much. Y'all have a great Christmas. |

Just wanted to introduce myself real quick and let you know how much I have enjoyed your web site and ideas. We are a Chapter here in Rocklin, California (near Sacramento) with 53 members. Don't know if I ever will be out your way, but would love to invite your members to stop by and join us for any events here in our neck of the woods. Hope it's OK for me to be an honorary member. I thought I'd have a chance to get some good ideas and will share our ideas too if you like. |

I am so jealous. I have lived all over the United States from Washington DC to Salinas, California to
Bridgeport, West Virginia and I will tell anyone that will listen "Take me home, country roads, take me home to where I belong West Virginia, Country Mama Take me
Home". I miss the mountains, I miss the deer in my back yard, I miss making snow angels, I miss the pioneer people who know how to love, laugh and show the country just what Red Hatting is all about and I'm sure that you gals are one of the best. |
